February Tales

February found us back in our own home, thankful to have our own spaces again.

Dennis has been taking swim lessons, and really enjoys them. Three kids to one instructor, a quick shower before and after, and usually some running around outside after the lesson with either Mom or Dad.

George is really interested in following Dad or Dennis around, copying whatever they do. He loves to cook in the kitchen with us, and help set up and clean off the table. George also loves to compost, and if he peeks in the garbage can and sees a compostable item, we'll hear 'uh oh uh oh' until the situation is rectified. 

Vivian loves the outdoors, and her dogs. She loves to play in the playroom with the dogs or chase them in the yard. Worms and the beach are also big hits with Vivian.

Dennis has been doing the entire bedtime routine with George and Vivian, which works nicely for me since Terry is usually at class in the late afternoons and evenings. Dennis will read books, sing songs, toss blankets and toys in the cribs and turn off the light, reassuring me that G & V are safely in bed. I don't question....
